What is Suppli

Suppli: AI accounts receivable software for distributors.

Suppli is an AI-native accounts receivable platform built for distributors, manufacturers, wholesalers, and logistics companies that sell or move physical goods on trade credit. Its digital credit teammate runs credit, collections, payments, and cash application in one platform connected to the ERP.

Suppli covers the full credit-to-cash cycle, from a new customer’s credit application to the payment posted against their last invoice. The credit team can monitor risk, follow up on overdue accounts, help customers pay, and apply incoming cash through one connected process.

Chaney Enterprises uses Suppli to manage AR across more than 100 locations. Since launching, they’ve seen 23% fewer past-due customers and about 43 hours saved each month on cash application alone.

When an unpaid invoice turns into a held order

A customer is ready to buy, but the next order is on hold. They’re past due, over their credit limit, or certain they already paid a balance that still shows as open.

The warehouse is ready to ship. The credit manager needs to establish what the customer owes. The customer is waiting for the order so their own business can keep moving.

Suppli connects the steps needed to resolve that payment problem. The customer receives a paylink by text or email and pays from their phone. Payment information flows back into the ERP so the credit team can review the account and release the order under its credit policy.

The same connection matters before an order gets held: consistent reminders, easier payment options, and faster cash application help the team keep balances current.

What Suppli does

Suppli’s digital credit teammate covers four connected parts of the credit-to-cash cycle.

Credit Intelligence

Customers apply for credit through a digital application, bringing the information the team needs into one process instead of an exchange of PDFs and follow-up emails.

Suppli pulls business credit through CreditSafe and principal credit through Equifax, runs fraud checks, automates trade and bank reference requests, and verifies bank accounts through Plaid.

After approval, Suppli rescans the customer base monthly for changes in credit scores, bankruptcy filings, new liens, and OFAC hits. The credit team can proactively review accounts whose risk has changed.

AR Automation & Collections

We have never met an overstaffed credit team.

Suppli sends reminders before invoices come due, runs dunning sequences, tracks promises to pay, monitors scheduled payments, and follows up on overdue accounts.

It also handles routine inbound requests for invoice copies, W-9s, trade references, and balance information. Accounts that need human judgment are escalated to the team.

Suppli works the entire aging report every day, so accounts in the middle and at the bottom of the list are worked as consistently as the largest balances.

Capital Forest Products now touches its entire customer list in minutes instead of hours. Texas Wood Supply kept collections moving as its AR doubled, with the same credit headcount.

Payments & Customer Self-Service

Suppli sends customers a text or email paylink so they can pay by card or ACH from their phone without creating an account or remembering a password. The customer portal gives them access to invoices, statements, and account details whenever they need them.

For orders requiring payment before invoicing, including COD and will-call, Suppli can collect payment before an invoice exists. Customers can also explain a short payment by identifying a disputed line item, tax issue, or other deduction.

Suppli also supports one-click ACH, early-pay discount reminders, and dynamic credit card surcharging. Carolina Drywall Supply recovered about $75,000 in card fees over 12 months through surcharging. Cape Cod Lumber increased ACH payments and saw customers pay earlier to capture discounts.

Cash Application

Unapplied cash is money received from a customer that has not yet been matched and posted to the invoices it pays. Suppli helps the credit team connect that cash to the right balance.

Suppli reads payment and remittance information from checks, ACH, wires, lockbox reports, scanned checks, and email, then matches payments to invoices and posts them back to the ERP.

Suppli reports that 90%+ of payments are matched and posted automatically. When information is missing, it can contact the customer for clarification.

Suppli handles payment exceptions such as early-pay discounts, freight disputes, sales-tax issues, split payments, and missing remittance.

Capital Forest Products previously spent 2 to 3 hours a day posting payments by hand. With Suppli, payments sync into its ERP automatically, giving the credit team more time for accounts that need attention.

How Suppli connects to your ERP

Suppli works alongside your existing ERP, which remains the system of record. You can add Suppli’s credit-to-cash workflows without replacing the ERP.

Suppli integrates bidirectionally with the ERPs physical-goods businesses use. Customer and receivables data flows into Suppli, while payments, remittance, and supported credit-decision updates flow back to the ERP.

Before implementation, confirm the data flows, posting behavior, and connection method for your ERP and version, including any credit-decision updates your team needs.

Suppli’s integrations include Infor CSD, Acumatica, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Epicor Eclipse, Prophet 21, and BisTrack, DMSi Agility, Sage Intacct, and other systems. See Suppli’s ERP integrations.

Suppli connects in days with full go-live in less than 90 days including training and end-customer communication. Cape Cod Lumber went fully live in 41 days, including ERP integration, training, and rollout. Capital Forest Products went fully live in 48 days.

When to consider Suppli

Suppli is worth evaluating when credit and AR work is growing faster than the team can handle. As account volume and locations grow, time spent answering routine questions, taking payments, and posting cash can leave less room to follow up on overdue accounts.

The signs are practical: collectors move between spreadsheets, email, and ERP screens; customers call to get invoices or make payments; and a few experienced people hold most of the process in their heads.

Common questions include:

  • Why is this order on hold?
  • Did this customer actually pay?
  • Who’s following up with the accounts that aren’t big enough to make the top of the list?
  • What happens when the person who knows how all of this works retires?

Those are useful starting points for a demo: show how an overdue account is worked, how a customer pays, and how that payment reaches the ERP.

What happens when a customer short-pays an invoice?

Suppli asks for the reason when the customer short-pays instead of leaving the AR team to figure it out later.
